The i24A5/i24A6 is a 2U4N multi-node server designed to run hyper-scale workloads requiring high core counts, large storage capacity, and flexible I/O solutions. The i24A5/i24A6 feature AMD EPYC™ 7002/7003 series, 83200 MHz RDIMM/LRDIMM, 24 storage drives, and multiple network options.
1. I24A5/A6 is powered by the latest AMD Rome/Milan Processors. Each CPU has up to 64 cores and 128 threads with a maximum Turbo frequency of 3.4 GHz and up to 280 W thermal design power (TDP). PCIe 4.0 ports support up to 128 lanes.
2. 8 DDR4 ECC memory modules (RDIMM and LRDIMM) are supported with the data transfer rate of up to 3200 MT/s under 1 DPC and 2933 MT/s under 2 DPC. The memory modules each have a maximum capacity of 128 GB, offering a maximum capacity of 2 TB with high speed and superior availability.
1. The flexible backplane configuration supports 6 2.5” NVMe/SAS/SATA drives or 3 3.5” SAS/SATA drives per node.
2. Accommodate 2 PCIe Gen4 slots and 1 OCP 3.0/OCP 2.0 network adapter per node, covering various demanding workloads and applications in data centers.
3. 2 onboard SATA or PCIe x4 2280/22110 M.2 SSDs.
1. The user-friendly, modularized designs for tool-less drives tray, Fan module, M.2 riser, and PCIe risers reduce the O&M time as well as improve the serviceability.
2. IEIT’s unique intelligent control technology with cutting-edge air cooling system enables the optimum working environment to remain the stable running of the server.
3. Hot-swap drives can be configured to RAID level 0/1/1E/10/5/50/6/60, with RAID cache and power failure protection enabled by the supercapacitor module.
4. With the latest BMC, technicians can quickly locate components that have failed (or are failing) through the Web GUI, fault diagnosis LEDs and UID LEDs on the front panel, simplifying maintenance, speeding up troubleshooting, and enhancing system availability.
5. Technicians can monitor system parameters and take appropriate actions in a timely manner via the alarms sent in advance via BMC to ensure system health and minimize system downtime.
1. Dynamic Power Capping to maintain the stable operation of the system with a single PSU by limiting the power consumption.
2. The efficient VRD power for every board reduces loss during DC-DC conversion.
3. Intelligent fan speed control and intelligent CPU frequency scaling help conserve energy.
4. An optimized cooling design in an all-around way, including energy-efficient cooling fans and ultra-low heat dissipation pressure due to low system energy consumption.
